Check out the article from the Washington Examiner about Delegate Albo’s upcoming bills for this session:
I’m very concerned about today’s article in the Post’s Metro section, about the man who passed a stopped school bus but was still acquitted because of a typo in the law. Now that the loophole has essentially been advertised in the paper, how many more cars (and there are already plenty) will be passing our children’s school buses? And this could go on the rest of the school year before the correction takes effect?
You have it correct. The law has been messed up for a number of
decades and not until now did anyone notice it. The earliest it can be
fixed is January.
