From Monday, August 29 until Thursday, September 1, there will be intermittent lane closures overnight to allow workers to erect concrete beams as part of the realignment of Rolling Road.
Northbound lanes are scheduled to be closed for 20 minutes at a time between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday. Southbound lanes are scheduled to be closed for 20 minutes at a time between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

The newly realigned Rolling Road overpass, part of the final phase of the Fairfax County Parkway project, is scheduled to open in May 2012. This new overpass will lead to the closing of the current Parkway exit on Donegal Lane.
