Progress on Rt. 1 Project

For my constituents that have been dealing with the increased congestion along the Route 1 corridor, due to BRAC and the new hospital, here is some information on the planned construction for the area. The project is still in the early planning stages, but for those who are interested, here are some links providing more details.

Supervisor Jeff McKay estimates the cost of widening Route 1 from Woodlawn to I-495 to be about $850 million. The federal government has pledged $185 million in funding.
