Christopher Newport University recently conducted a poll asking questions about the expansion of Obamacare and the state of Virginia.
Here are some of the key findings:
- Virginia voters have soured on Medicaid expansion, with 53% saying they do not support the current proposal.
- An overwhelming majority of voters (71%) want a compromise to avoid a government shutdown. House Republicans have offered the clearest path to compromise – pass a clean budget to avoid a government shutdown and debate Medicaid expansion later.
