Since December 1902, Korean Americans have actively demonstrated their incredible resilience, positive work ethic, and ongoing innovation. These qualities have made them a vital part of society in both Virginia, and across America.
In 2007, eight years ago, I was the Co-Patron of HJ 632 with my friend, Delegate Tim Hugo. HJ 632 was passed to make January 13th of every year, Korean American Day in Virginia! The bill commends the many Korean Americans that work to make America the amazing place that it is today.
These dedicated individuals are a wonderful example of what makes Virginia and our Country the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
Happy Korean American Day!
